What Can Botox Treat

As your skin ages, loss of collagen and elastin results in two kinds of wrinkles–dynamic and static. There are effective treatments for both.

Dynamic wrinkles develop because of years of muscle movement and facial expressions. These types of wrinkles can be improved safely with the use of the botulinum toxins. With the proper dosage and a skilled injector, you’ll get results and still retain a very natural look.

Static wrinkles do not improve much with botulinum toxins and generally require other approaches such as microneedling, laser resurfacing and/or dermal filler.

Our patients are able to return to their normal activities immediately after their BOTOX® treatment. We do suggest to patients to avoid exercise, bending over, lying flat, and rubbing an area that was injected for 4 hours. It is simple!
